AI agent memory is the context an assistant keeps between conversations, so you do not explain yourself twice. Sidekick Pro's memory pulls short facts out of your conversations and your mail by itself, stores the standing instructions you give it, and retrieves what is relevant on every surface: the web app, the Chrome extension, your phone app and your assistant's phone line.
How the memory works
- It remembers without being asked A background pass reads what you talked about and writes down what matters: names, preferences, dates, decisions. You do not tag anything or press save.
- Short facts, not transcripts Each memory is one short fact with its own reason for existing. The point is retrieval, so a fact stays small enough to be found and quoted precisely.
- Duplicates get merged A new fact is compared against what is already stored. Overlapping versions are combined or amended instead of piling up as five phrasings of the same thing.
- It finds the right fact at the right time Retrieval is semantic, then it fans out by label, so a question about one person or project pulls in the related facts even when you word it differently.
- Standing instructions Tell it how you want things done and it keeps the rule. A rule can apply everywhere, or only to one sender, one job or one conversation, so it fires where it belongs.
- Facts can expire Something true only until Friday is stored with an expiry. Temporary context stops being quoted back at you weeks later.
- You can read and edit it Open your memory, browse it grouped by label, search it, fix a fact that came out wrong, or delete it. Nothing is hidden from you.
- The same memory everywhere What it learns in the web app is there in the Chrome extension, on your phone, in voice mode and when it answers your phone line.

Memory is only useful if it reaches the work
A list of remembered facts is not the point. What matters is whether the assistant has them in hand at the moment it acts. Sidekick Pro retrieves memory before it answers, before it triages your mail, before it picks up the phone and before it starts an unattended job, so the context arrives with the task rather than after it.
That is why memory is not stored as whole conversations. Long transcripts retrieve badly. Short, labelled facts can be matched to the question in front of the assistant and quoted exactly, which is what makes the difference between an assistant that sounds like it knows you and one that does.
What it keeps, and what it leaves alone
Memory holds facts about your world and instructions about how you want work done. It deliberately does not treat every decision about the thing you are building as a standing rule, because a choice you made about one draft is not a rule for all of them.
